Welcome to the 2019-2020 Hockey Registration with Grand Rapids Amateur Hockey Association!
This registration session will allow you to print your parent code of conduct, complete contact information and submit payment. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Checking account information available. Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from Grand Rapids Amateur Hockey Association.
Cash Raffle Fundraising Fees for 2019-2020:
All registration fees are returned to you in the form of raffle tickets. All fees can be recovered if all of the raffle tickets that you receive are sold!
Note: Children must be the age of 3 by July 1st, 2019 in order to register and play hockey.
Boat Fundraising Fees for 2019-2020:
Boat Raffle Tickets =$100.00 per family
Volunteer (DIBS) Deposit for 2019-2020:
DIBS Deposit of $300 per player will be required for 10U, 12U, 15U, Squirt, Pee Wee, and Bantam players. Checks will be collected at IRA registration nights and will be shredded following fulfillment of 13 volunteer shifts per player, or deposited in lieu of fulfillment of volunteer responsibilities.
Again, this year there is also an Early-bird registration. It runs July thru August 31st at 11:59 pm. Fees will increase $100.00 for Squirt / 10U players and up if you sign up after 11:59 pm on August 31st.
Fees will not go up for new players to our organization!!!!
Fees will not go up for Mites, Intermediates, Beginners or 8U but, please do everything you can to register on time. Our registration numbers determine how many teams we have at these age levels and we can also order jerseys so that the players can receive them on their first day.
SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE!
The application is located on the front of the website and directions on where to turn in the paperwork are on the form. This form is similar to the free and reduced lunch program of ISD 318 and follows its income guidelines.
FREE EQUIPMENT PROGRAM - 65 Available
First year players, Mites / 8U and under, are eligible for head to skate equipment. Equipment bags and skate vouchers will be handed out on registration nights, September 16, 17, and 18 at the IRA Civic Center.

2. Official courthouse copy of the birth certificate - for new players only
3. Parent Code of Conduct signed by PARENTS and PLAYERS
4. DIBS check for $300.00 (10u / Squirt and up)
5. Pick up cash raffle tickets and boat raffle tickets
Players WILL NOT be allowed on the ice if all of the above is not completed.
*New this season, any player that turns 17 by December 31st will need to complete the USA Hockey Safe Sport Training before going on the ice. This is mandated by USA Hockey*

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2019-2020 Season.
All players will receive cash and prize raffle tickets in the amount of how much they paid for registration. We are no longer selling the calendars. These cash and prize raffle tickets will be given to you in the amount of what you paid for each player. Each cash raffle ticket will be $20. For example, a Squirt/10U player, will receive 33 cash and prize raffle tickets at $20 each, which will equal their $660 enrollment fee. If the player/parent sells any or all of these tickets, they keep the money and that help pays for their registration fee! This gives every player the opportunity to play Grand Rapids hockey at a greatly reduced rate!
(please note: the only fees that cannot be recovered are the ones collected by Minnesota Hockey and USA Hockey)
Each family will also be required to purchase $100 in boat raffle tickets. Every ticket that you sell, the money goes directly back into your pocket.
In order for the registration system to recognize that your family is registering multiple players, please register all of your players at this time. On the Review Page, there is a link near the bottom to "Register Another Player" - please click on this link to ensure that all of your family's players are registered within the same order. Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of your family's discounted rates.
Boat Raffle fees must be paid in full at the time of online registration
Cash and Prize Raffle, Boat Raffle Ticket Pick Up and Form drop off on September 16, 17, and 18 at IRA Arena from 5:00-8:00pm.
Brand new players to the association will not forfeit their Cash or Boat Raffle Tickets!!!!!! It will have you click the button that says you understand the dates and forfeit of tickets, but you will still receive them.
